The Five “Solas”

The five “solas” of the reformation summarize the great truths of the reformers. About two years ago I wrote this song for a group of fifth and sixth graders at a private Christian School to help them learn the five phrases.

Sola Scriptura
Solo Christo
Sola Fide
Sola Gratia
Soli Deo Gloria

I was very pleased with the results of the song! The kids learned the chorus very fast. The verses take a little bit more work, but in the end they seem to be easy to get.
